Gregarious Dreams Adrift

This drifting summer's afternoon as I lay down to sleep
in the warm embracing sun
my elfin heart melodeon wished
that you were intracoastal floating here with me
The green-stalked rustling reeds bend their slender curving heads,
aquadynamic hands-on
streamline drinking from the mighty river's surface,
chatting over turtle tea
The gregarious wind caressing equipollent,
no holds barred, they move holus-bolus
motioned unison abounding, reciting dripping dreams
of seductive, fluid poetry
Arriving for the dawning day's full wisdom,
clairvoyant sounds escape our echoed hearts
our collateral freedom that surrounds,
astounds in eidolon gifts, promises surely given
Dark grey thunderheads that live in silvered rain
and golden lightning bolts..rumbling, grumbling upstarts
interweaving patterns of pelleted renewel,
tho our delicate handmaid skin be hurricane wind-driven
Resilient relief, refreshing keynotes of bioclimatic sorcery,
fires aflame our internal solar charts
Japanese lanterned portals, incognito strivings in illuminated
air,
offsetting landscapes of oblivion
