Happiness is...

A day of sunshine with it's warmth on my face,
The feeling of love from a warm embrace;
The sight of a swan on a pleasant Spring day,
An eagle above, flying freely away;
The color of blue as seen in the skies,
And the twinkle we find in a child's eyes;
The laughter of people as they dance and sing,
And the sound of the wind, whispering sweet things;
A good cup of coffee with a lingering flavor,
An interesting book with a story to savor;
Some time to myself to relax and unwind,
The absence of tension in my body and mind.
Happiness is what we feel in our hearts;
From contentment to bliss,
Rejoice in each part.
