Happy for a second

Happy for a second,
Maybe even two!
Or just another nanosecond,
I don't have a clue.
I've been down lately.
There are several things wrong,
A relationship, that ended,
That had been going on too long,
A friendship shattered,
Mum made mad,
I shouted and yelled,
She thought I was BAD.
Glad he dumped me,
I'm free of him now,
All that's left for him to do,
Is get out of town.
She bullied my around,
Until I was right down,
Glad I spoke and stopped it,
Because I'm getting over it bit by bit.
No wonder I shouted at mum,
Took it out on her,
Still, it would hurt her to know,
What my feelings were.
I'm getting happier,
Smiling now and then,
Not feeling small as a mouse,
But as big as BIG BEN!!!
No-one can harm me,
I'm untouchable,
And I don't mean that I'm,
Irreproachable,
I just look before I leap,
Before I get in too deap,
Think before I act,
One of those 'mum knows best' facts.
