I have a dream

I Have A Dream

I dream of being free...to fly in the night sky and watch the night
time live its life... to swoop down so low as to sweep the ground
gently with the tips of my wings and then to soar as high as i can ...
then just rest on the wind and softy float down a little again while i
catch my breath.
To be able to see clearly with just the moon as illumination.. to trust
in my abilities and instincts to guide me on an adventure free from
danger..to experience the exhilaration of the air against me and to be
filled with the thrill of the night sounds and not terrified by
them.
The dream is always the same ... the safety of the cocoon..the warmth
it affords .. so comforting... yet somehow sour...rancid....I know my
life depends on being released from it... yet in here i kind of know
who i am ..out there .... who will i be.......free from the pain and
the lies of the past ..who is me..... it's then i wake up sweating and
in tears.....
