Just can't break away!

what happened to the good times that we once shared and all of the
fun things that we used to do.

As of late we have nothing in common, on every issue we seem to have a
different point of view.

I really wouldn't mind you leaving honey, if only you'd set me
free.

but when you walked out of that door girl you left your chains on
me.

My friends tell me that I should give it up, just give it up and let it
go.

but each time I start to take their advice the tears just start to
flow.

Every since you've been gone I think of you both night and day.

And no matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to break away.

I can't break these chains and God knows that I've tried.

I just can't break away, girl you've got my hands tied.

Every since you've been gone, my tears flow like the rain.

Every time I think that I'm free, back comes the pain.

I close my eyes at night and pretend that every things okay.

But I always end back up at square one the very next day.
