Marathon
I was born.
After a normal delivery,
I crawled and then
I began to walk.
I must have walked a bit too fast.
I stumbled.
I stumbled, a few times.
I even fell.
But, I walked again.
I learned how to run.
I ran many miles,
I fell many times.
But, I kept on running.
So, there I was just running away.
Literally, running away.
No more crawling, no more walking cause
I was too busy running and running fast.
But, there was a red light
that I plainly ignored.
Just kept on running, running away.
I wasn't crawling, not walking but running as
the red light appeared again.
What to do?
Run that red light, run that red light!
Smash! Crash! Bang!
Put on the brakes...
Should I turn off the ignition?
No, let's just see where I land!
Well, I landed.
Back to a crawl.
I hope I never walk fast again!
I hope I never learn to run again.
