What do I know?
I was too small,
At a young age,
I was taken away,
How things have changed!!
Always faced with the past,
And to wish the life I had,
Did I shed a tear?
When they took me away,
Did you hold me in your arms that day?
Did you know that they would take your little boy away?
I was put with a family,
You thought I was safe,
In a strange place,
How things have changed!!
Now that I'm older your little boy gone,
I thought there would be love in your arm,
And now I think you're breaking my heart,
For with me I share my thoughts,
And feeling left out
I put on a smile and I stand tall,
For this little boy has a broken heart,
To miss his chance to live,
With his mum by his side,
This boy now man,
He does what he can,
For his only mum,
