Other Side of the Wind

Everyone has had their share of bad weather. But with each thunder
storm that splits trees, washes sand away, and flips houses, the grass
gets a little greener, the flower get a little taller, and somebody
gets a much needed cleansing. From the dust devils to the F5 tornadoes,
everyone has had some sort of storm in their life, and each one makes
us a little stronger. And while some people have had more storms in
life, don't let the storms keep you from seeing the awe-inspiring
after-effects. After all, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says that God gives us
nothing we cannot endure. But sometimes I wonder how people make it
through 26 years of life without knowing what I've experience and can
say, "I'm giving it to God Sunday if he lets me live that long." I
cannot imagine going through Summer showers, much less the perfect
storm, without 3 bloody nails.
And always remember, only God controls the storms. Do you really think
that God is going to destroy His own child?
