Ode to the One Man Business

What passing bells for these who flog products from vintage Transits
?
Only the monstrous interference of the rule enforcers is a daily
trap.
With MOT failures and road tax problems - forget comprehensive
insurance, what's that ?
This tyre tread looks a bit non - existent, mate.
No investment income now for them, no Peps no Tessas nor bonus
issues,
No doting family &; friends saying he's doing awfully well.
Forget holidays or falling sick - they're not allowed.
Only the self employed know the hand of the tax inspector,
The help, the guidance, the mission statements, the utter
reasonableness of it all,
Who has time to read this stuff ? A forest of entanglements in polite
tones.
More pressing matters need attention; customers who pay cash,
And creditors calling from mobile phones.
