Snow In The Night.
This hidden form of H2O,
Falling softly ,downy snow.
Heaven's fallout,
Angel dust,
Bold intruder ,
Winter's touch.
Cloaking roofs and chimneys
dressing all alike,
A world now blanketed,
in white.
Seemingly protected,
Silenced, still.
We sleep through the fall,
Undisturbed, unconcerned.
Then morning comes,
Rubbing sleepy eyes,
We stumble down the stairs.
Caught unawares,
by the wonderment, of snow,
A complete new landscape,
That last night was'nt there,
This silent guest alighted,
Sent in the night .
To bewitch you in the dawn.
