Waiting for the bus was boring
Waiting for the train was dull
Waiting for sleep leaves intolerable fidgets
But waiting for you is pure hell.

Waiting to leave him was easy
Knowing to whom I would fall
Waiting to find you
(First half of my life,)
Has brought me to where I now dwell.

Waiting for wings and hoping
That after I jump they might grow
Waiting to crash is appalling
Waiting for life to implode

Waiting to love you is hardest,
Waiting till you find the time
Wanting to be the one who keep waiting
and be there to welcome you home.
