We Had

A primitive silence,
Less a silence, more a few words unspoken
(I knew there was more to say.)
This quiet could be as strong as we were
Two magnets
(The force wasn't saturated, objects may glide through it).
Our space carried no sense
That I could pick up years from now and remember.
(I was wearing a different perfume
It was as if we never existed.)
