Zebra Theory

White against black, the figure turns back
Black against white, something's not right
Paranoid memory void, cut me some slack
Devoid of living humanoid, where is the light?
This zebra in my bedroom, it helps me to see
All the points of life that are concealed so easily
I'm stroking its mane and I'm calling its name
I guess my zebra theory is a little insane
Do you have a zebra, that visits your dreams?
It tells you its stories, of mountains and streams
It's life seems so perfect, but then there was man
Destroying it's landscapes, destroying it's plans
You wouldn't understand...You're nothing like us
You spend your day worrying about the rain and the rush
Well, that's your own problem, you corporate whore
At least we have the power to do a little bit more
This zebra in my bedroom, it helps me to say
All the words in life that I never would say
I'm pulling it's tail and I'm hearing it's wail
I guess my zebra theory is a little off scale
White against black, so red is the wine
Black against white, what colour's the sky?
White against black, I think I am blind
All I can see is the colour of life
The stripes on it's back, this world is a game
The stripes hit me back, you all look the same
White against black, please tell me your name
Do you think my zebra theory is a little insane?
