Thought kept me Awake the Whole Night

Stared at the night sky and waited for the moon to show its smiling face. But alas the sun rose from the east. To my realisation, I had stared the sky the whole night!
Ridiculous! I cursed myself. What exactly transpired was in between me and my mind is important, but blinking at the sky and keeping awake like an owl was never my intention. Yet it was those intense 6 hours when I was to myself, what really held me back were my thoughts. I said to myself, not for a single moment was I distracted and I never realised that my eyes were wide open keeping me awake!
It was my first learning session to ride a bicycle. All on my own with a cousin’s 24 inches high bicycle (such bicycles are usually meant for tall men) and at the age of 7 I was determined, today I’m going to make it. Putting across my legs through the triangular frame I tried balancing on the two wheels with both my legs on the pedal. Falling down, bleeding from my knees but my focus was on to ride it. My shirt tore at the shoulder but it didn’t keep me away. Those intense six hours of every fall and scratch on my body ended with me balancing and riding the bicycle on two wheels coinciding with the Sun rising in the eastern sky.
