Hi folks,
It's just on midnight and I'm tired as hell, but here are a few quick
reviews before I go to bed:

WHAT I READ TODAY:
Crossing Turkey by Train by jf2001

As a fellow traveller with my own travel story entitled "The Turtle and
the Greyhound" (a bit of self promotion never hurt anyone), I found
this piece humorous and very well written. It was interesting and
funny, and did I mention I'm never going to test the rail system in
Turkey now? I've always said the best stories come from travel
woes.
My only complaint is that I found this piece a bit difficult to read
simply due to the lack of structured paragraphs - blame it on my tired,
blurry eyes.
I loved the irony of the ending.

War Ode by narcissa

What is Rememberance Day without reading at least one Ode to the old
diggers? I found this poem very moving and there was some powerful
imagery going on. I thought the "LATER" pattern of the verses to be a
novel and inspiring format.
I think narcissa has captured the horror of war and painted a heartfelt
picture of some very true heroes.
Great work.

The Barnyard Incident by hudsonmoon

This story was just fantastic. I giggled the whole way through. It was
cleverly written and I could almost see it published as a children's
picture book. It is an illustrator's dream.
I was a little disappointed by the ending, but overall I thoroughly
enjoyed this piece.

You'll Never Fart Alone by sneak

All I can say is bloody BRILLIANT!!
This poem was putrid and feral, but totally and utterly
brilliant.
Great work.

Vegetable Knife by joel

This was a descriptive, journal-type story. I could see this piece
being performed as a monologue in some bizarre drama starring Tom
Cruise or something. It would be a great addition to an interesting
screenplay.
Food for thought.

Goodnight all!!
