Sleeping scare

While lying in my bedroom
and my eyes start to close
I can hear the clock ticking
and I begin to dose.
But in the backround I still hear
the people sshouting endlessly,
the shaking of the big willow tree,
and the police sirens ringing.
I begin to fall in a deep sleep,
and I start to see happy children.
They are singing and dancing ,
laughing and are smiling.
How merry they all are.
But then a sudden darkness occurs
I hear screms for help and
see signs of death.
I'm so afraid. I'm shaking,
my hearts gone weak and,
I've broken into a sweat.
I wake up with a startling scream
when I realise it was just a dream.
I cry for joy and sigh for relief
But this poem has no disbelief.
