The Unit.
Creativity is a severe personality disorder. It is delusional and
surreal. What's the point? Frankly, we just a fragment of information
on a database. A credit record just about sums it up. Banks and credit
firms spend millions on bombarding us with mail about exciting offers
to decrease our personal freedom. Let's face it; it's a pretty
miserable existence. Well, the existence of living in Britain. Like a
slow moving barge it seems to have been shifted into its present
position purposely as an experiment on it's indigenous settlers.
Stop, Stop!!
I've shifted through three different ideas there in the space of six
and a half lines. Although, it's seems to about sum up this miserable
little rock in the north Atlantic. Of course there is beauty out there
in the form of physical geographical features and quaint villages and
towns, not to forget some splendid architecture. But the government has
been prescribing anti-depressants for a while now trying to obtain an
aesthetically more pleasing outlook for it's populous. We are being
crushed. Our existence is meaningless. From an early age we are pumped
with vaccines and brainwashing stimuli. To be continued with a military
style education that strives to wipe our minds of any character
provoking thought i.e., the national curriculum, GCSEs etc. We flow
into employment and at eighteen are harassed by banks to take up their
wonderful offers of credit. This is so we can afford all those amazing
products we should have because there must be something wrong with us
if don't possess any. Outgoings, from an already meagre wage, increase
and slowly the control sets in. We are modulated by: Banks, insurance,
telephone networks, ISPs, credit records, speed cameras to name a
few.
