Beefburgers

BEEFBURGERS
Take 1 pound of mince, very lean,
Plus an onion, chopped finely, and keen.
Stick these in a bowl,
And mix them with soul,
And a good pinch of herbs, if you're keen.
Now add to your savoury mix
A handful of stuffing, real quick
Ketchup from a tube,
A crumbled beef cube,
Plus an egg, these delights to transfix.
Now shape your beef-burgers by hand
About 6 or so sounds very grand.
Just roll in a ball,
Then flatten - that's all.
They're ready right now to be panned.
Or if you're a microwave buff,
Arrange on a plate with some stuff.
Cook 9 minutes 'high'
And you'll wonder why
You didn't dare cook quite enough.
