While we are young

I wish we knew the luxury of youth.
When procrastinating about the troubles of tomorrow kept a genuine smile on our faces.
I wish we understood the gift of every moment.
Before our present became the past and soon, we would sit in a fragile old age robbed of our memories.
I wish we loved deeper.
Embracing every relationship while we have no understanding of the many ways, we could lose the ones we love.
I wish we were more childish.
Nurturing the innocence held within our souls reminds us that life is a playground with no age limit.
But alas, the innocent giggles on the playground morphed into emojis with no emotions behind them.

How true. Children are not
How true. Children are not free in the way that former generations were, they are more free from labour but they are watched and concerned about perception. Great poem
