Super Granny

One day, there was an old lady, called Marty. She was short and fat.
Her grand-daughter was called Susan. She was coming to her house today.
When Susan arrived at her Granny's house, she noticed that the cellar
door was open, normally it was locked.

"Why is the cellar door open?" said Susan.

"Um, I just, um went down to get some coal for the fire," said Mary.
Whenever Susan talked about the cellar Mary didn't know what to
say.

Mary had no friends and everyone ignored her. Mary was tired and fed up
of people not liking her. Then Mary had an idea.

"I think your mum wanted you back by 5 o'clock. So you better be going,
it's 10 to 5 and it will take you ten minutes to get back," said Mary
to Susan.

"Oh, bye, then".

"Bye, see you tomorrow after school".

Now that Mary was alone she could do her plan. She sat in her car and
drove down to the fire station. When she was there she went to the
firemen.

"This will sound weird because I'm an old lady, but can I become a
firelady?" said Mary.

"Sorry you're too old, Mary", they answered.

"Well watch this", said Mary. She did a double back flip, landed and
kicked over the cardboard firemen. "See, I bet I am fitter than you lot
will ever be and you do need more firemen".

"Well, OK I suppose so", they said.

"What do you mean, well I suppose so? Are you the new boss then?" the
boss said.

"No, not at all, Sir".

"Well, why did you act like it, of course you can join the team, you
start tomorrow."

"Thank you," said Mary. She drove home and went to sleep then, happy
that her plan was working.

Next morning, Mary got out of bed and ran down to the cellar. Mary was
a witch. And in the cellar were spell books and cauldrons. Mary started
to say..

"On house 101 on Briar Road, please make fire, a very big fire"? it was
a spell Mary heard somewhere.
She ran out. Everyone was round the house. Mary chose that house
because she was at number 99 and 101 was next door so she could get
there before the other firemen.

"Save them, Mary, save them!" someone shouted.

"I'll try" said Mary. She ran in the house did a spell and the fire
went out. Then Super Granny was known as Super Granny and had lots of
friends.
