THE HAWK AND THE DOVE
Come follow my way, till the end of your day
Said the hawk to the snow white dove
And life we'll renew, as we topple the few
That sit in their castles above.
We'll hit them so hard. in their own backyard
They wont know which way to turn
And we'll dance in the ashes, as their empire crashes
Around them their temples will burn.

We must raise our hand, as together we stand
In the end justice will win
For freedom we fight, our land to unite
Ireland one country again.
The orange mans card, has always been hard
To our cost, this we have found
To his everlasting shame, he has used Gods name
To trod us into the ground.

For a Protestant people, he called from the steeple
To build, a police state
Corruption and greed, as he planted the seed
(In the minds of his people) of hate.

We must rise above, to the hawk, said the dove
The violence the killing must end
Time for a new start, with hope in our heart
For our future, it's on love we depend.
Our lives can create, without bitterness or hate
A land where all can be free
And live happy together, like birds of a feather
If only you'll listen to me.

Your ways we have tried, so many have died
Their blood chokes the voice of us all
Their spirits cry out, can you not hear them shout
ENOUGH, we must change, is their call.
We must give peace a chance, our lives to enhance
Let's try to bury our past
The truth will be told, the future will hold
One country, one people at last
