The rain pounds my skin tighter onto my bones.
Its constant clatter waiting at my door, to rip at my flesh and burrow
its way into my heart.
The rain has seeped into my soul, tearing at the tears.
But the wave refuses to break.
My emotions sufficate in the wake of the risen dust.
They claw at the walls in search of oxygen to give them life.
Beyond the clouds the bell tolls.
But you just stare him in the face.
