Concern is growing for the health of movie star Maren Gilligan as her aides remain tight-lipped about her condition. Gilligan was attacked onstage recently by an individual described by PA Florin Jukkson as “a crazed fan – one of many, we fear.” Since the attack, the actor has been in intensive care in a top-secret private hospital, but very little comment on her progress has been issued. This has led to speculation that the extent of her injuries has been played down for the media’s benefit.

Jukkson has been Gilligan’s closest confidante for a number of years now, and the woman many credit with the actor’s enduring success and impressive body of work. In a recent interview, Jukkson told Flashbulb magazine that she would not rest until the mystery of who attacked Gilligan, whom she described as being more like a sister to her than an employer, was solved. Like the other members of Gilligan’s entourage, however, she could not be persuaded to divulge details of the actor’s condition, commenting only: “We’re doing all we can.”

In other news, Chasey Pollen has announced his engagement to his “Bliss Wig” co-star Hellin Fova. Fova, whose single “Get Spring” rocketed to number one three weeks ago and shows no sign of slipping, has yet to issue a statement about the wedding plans. An insider says the date may be summer this year, and the contract for Fova’s dress design is being fought over by top couture houses Kirang and Pixx.
