The morning i woke up
And saw the girl from the chip shop
Lying by my side
I thought to myself
It's time to move away.

When she had gone
Back across the road
I packed a bag
And decided to go away

The whole day i thought
Of travelling to my friends
I have some in Nottingham
Some in Walthamstow

But in the morning
I woke up
With the girl from the Chinese Takeaway
And decided i would stay.
