The fire stone has fallen!
The world's been strewn with death!
A million, billion lives now take,
Their last poor smoky breaths!
The cloud of dust has risen!
The sun will shine no more!
A thousand dying dinosaurs,
Lie helpless on the floor!
A winter harsh and bitter,
Sweeps in with sheets of snow,
Icy, raw and pitiless!
Rivers cease to flow.
Death has won this battle then,
For it seems everything is dead,
No light, no life, no living, now!
Too much blood's been shed!
The silence of desolation rules,
Yet scattered far and wide,
Small scurrying scraps of life emerge!
The Earth HAS survived!
