A Necklace of Red Stones

I have a necklace
deep red
dark red
pomegranite seeds
strung in a line
Almost the stones
would burst in the mouth
sweet and tart
Each stone a seed of thought
that image, that wit
that clever use of words
I put it on for you
dress to kill
but take it off
alone
