A path led to a crossroads in life
Time passing before one's eyes
Just as day turns into night
Years pass by with blinding light
A path chosen so long ago
Ebbs like a tide at this crossroads
Weighing heavy upon the mind
So vexing a decision
A heart and soul inner-twined
A heartfelt feelin to be ensued
A time to move on though love remains strong and true
Two souls yearning for different things
Happiness for one will be the sacrifice made
Love without happiness only breeds hate
Without compromise a path must be changed
Unyielding a burden, a decision to be made
