Shadow

Why do you stalk me?
You are the dark shadow that covers me,
with no light or warmth.
You creep up on me, bring me to tears.

You live in my writing, my music my art,
The hidden reflection of a tortured mind.
A dark creation that torments me,
weakening me more each time.

You try to banish me to the darkness
of your side,
Gripping my heart and mind.

You do not frighten me.
I am strong.
You will not win, you havn't won yet.

I'll kill you before you kill me.
