Why rara aves in the study of zoology?
Glorious Pere Aleatorius
Cast off the die
Bequest no fixed reason or why
No alee or nature shelter
Spinning counter to the wheeling wind
Sharing the falling seed of the chancer
the beak of an alembic pointing in
Distilling desires in the prism of time
Resurrector of a shifting shared seediness
Chances high and low
Claustrophobic squalor and graduation
from rest
Staging posts in flight from life’s debts
Sipping the forest in full
Leaving behind lines of the past
Creation’s great art
Waiting for the earth to spin.

rara avis I think? Excellent
'rara avis' if in Latin I think? Excellent piece. Seems like you can knock this out all day, wish I could.

Congrats on the cherry :-)
As per usual I lack knowledge and ability to understand and decipher another ABCtales poem. So can't comment intelligently. Often feel way out of my league and depth on this site ... oh well, congrats on being able to translate the academic intelligencia into a poem clever people like scratch will get ;-) Have a super weekend!

I very impressive poem, but I was glad that Shannan asked for help, so that I too could benefit from a lesson in writing.
