We are the generation of top up fees,
Saving trees,
And saying thank you and please.

Pension schemes,
Hopes and dreams,
Of legal drinking age,
On the streets we’ll show our rage.

Given too much,
Not enough time to pay it back,
The rest all on crack.

Stand up and write the page,
Our generation wastes its time and wage.

Materialistic tat,
Everyone wants this and that.

Compromise and conformity,
Come and leech like the perfect and pretty.
They’ll lure you in with their evil smile,
And we’ll watch as you march single file.

We are the generation that’ll waste it away,
Burn our gift on to the ashtray.

Save us before we crumble,
Now is the time to be humble.
