Let me Breathe

(performance poem)
Give me some kind of space
let me breathe
Odd numbers count too as well you know
Give me some kind of space
where the sky belongs to me
Remove your hopeless poverty of thought
Give me some kind of space
let me breathe
Give me some kind of space
And let me breathe
We build our walls too high to see
Around our states of thought
Give me some kind of space
Where we do not hide our fears
In this kingdom of the blind
Give me some kind of space
And let me breathe
Give me some kind of space
And let me breathe
Don’t crush me with your stupid fate
Give me some kind of space
Where you are not the norm
And I do not have to think and be like you
Give me some kind of space
Let me breathe
