A Garden Of Eden

Oh yet another beautiful morning
A smiling sunrise after a rainy night
Sweet sounds of nature and twiter of birds
Scent of flowers which shine so bright
To cause lovers to sigh in delight
Woolly clouds which are white
Drift across the sky like rock debris
The bright sun blink and come in sight
Isn't God great to create such heights
Of glorious voluptuous beauty
In our days and nights
He made the nights so quiet
So silvery with their moons and stars
That we may sleep calmly and
Snore all our problems away
The milkyway a starry firmament
Like diamonds street lights of
A distant civilisation
He made the nights so romantic with
The effect of moonlight on ponds and seas
Watching all the luxury of
Yachts bobbing on the waves
Faint shadows cast from two figures
Kissing at a pond
A finger pointing wonderingly
Somewhere in the sky to the
Distant flash of lightning.
