Embracing the eyes of Anna Jacquin,
Introduced me to immortality,
The circular path of memory of man,
Of light curving light, curving alightly,
Burning through dark fettered fortressed mindfields,
Like dawn through a sombre, picture-book pass,
Clearly the absence of Anna reveals,
Not blindness nor death can shatter her glass.
As light is reflected, so it is done,
Bending fire will never stop burning,
The Battle of Borges fought but not won,
Babel your home for light years of learning.
I repeat reflection future and past,
Mirrored by the next life, as by the last.
