Through your eyes
the body releases pain.
Lift the lid from the well within,
let the stagnant water flood from your gut.
Let it rise, let it fill your chest.
It will not drown you.
Your pain asks to be free
from the fear that's holding it in.
Don't gulp down the lump in yout throat -
the swell of your first cry, since.
Don't blink away the tiny pools
before the great flood.
Let it rise, let it leave the body.
It will not sweep you away.
Your pain will show you how
if you'll let it.

I like this one.
I find it invigorating, having released the pain that asks for freedom.
