Starting out of sight
Welling up from a shared idea
Like a wave
First a sparkle on the surface
Slowly growing
Undulating
Until its shape is seen
Swelling into an irrepressible rolling
Overflowing
Onto close-packed grains of images
Drenching a beach of fused minds
Ebbing smiles
Withdrawing
Leaving a tang of amusement
And sound
Reverberating
Waiting to be recharged
With another tide of thought
Rising from an unknown source.
