Gabriels`Apprentice.

One quiet day in Heaven a trainee Angel said,
"Excuse me noble Gabriel, there are some things
I cant get through my head.
If our good Lord was hebrew from the start
How do you explain the mix of Angels?
The Methodists,Calvinists come to that!
Then there are Mormons,Seventh Day Adventists,
Jehovas Witnesses and all,Christian Scientists,
Fundamentalists,Billy Graham,Pope John Paul.
Why,then if they`re not Jewish,
Do they get to wear the wings?and Hebrew folk
Seem like a joke,dont get to wear a thing?
All the Saints are Catholic or Protestant,
Though in the bible they were Jew,
Who decides?who gets the halos wings or harps
Or credit where it`s due.?
Why on our Lords birthday,when they should
Recall the greatness of his life,
Does the average human celebrate,
By buying knickers for his wife.?
Why on Christmas Eve at midnight,when good
Christians take a pause to think of the
Christchilds gifts,
Does the credit go to Santa Claus?"

The Angel Gabriel scratched his head,
Then said, "now look here Bob,times are
Hard but we`re still busy,so lets just
Shut up and keep our job."
