Searching my soul
For the missing link
When will I awake
From this nightmare
In which I reside.

The truth is upon me
I can no longer hide
Shadows appear in the gloom
Shallow and unfulfilled
When will I awake
From this grey world.

And find true colours
Bright and warm
Not dull and cold.

This heart is dead
I feel nothing
No pain, just numb.

How much longer
Must I wait for
This amazing awakening?

As told in the legends
For the rain to fall
Onto this barren desert
To let me blossom
As I need.

Need is the key
Want is the desire
Love is the emotion
I need and want.
