Checking in with my body
Sorrow.
Flood with grief.
My breath, the ocean,
Shush sad swell
Weeping waves,
Rise and fall.
Helpless sand,
Quiet, unheard.
The beach empty,
Long dried sky.
Pain the air,
No birds fly.
My third eye,
A hazy sun,
Aching, dull,
The left side ocean.
The right, the sand,
Parched, spent.
Two sides merge,
Collapsed observe.
Drawn in to centre
Forward pull.
Magnetic dark
Maternal void.
My heart - fear
Grief, and pain.
Heavy, jagged
Cruelly crushed
Remains behind,
Leaden, lone
Pinned by the rock,
Anchored…
Away from
welcome abyss.
Beach returns.
Lie dead on shore,
Heart broken,
Corpse bereft,
Sound of breath,
Sad ocean waves.
Caressed with waves.
Lifeless kiss.
