Determined Mode

I am in determined mode
which means I cannot be free.
I
exist in and through
something other,
that is not my self.

I am determined to exist
in a particular manner, but
I
can never be free
to be as I imagine to be,
To be my self.

I am determined to be
by that thing which is free but
I
endeavour to persevere
to be free only
as He determines me.

I am determined to be free
by my body and mind.
I
affirm them by reason
the gateway to love
and the power to be

I am determined to be me
acting from within,
I
do not choose to act
or will to love
merely follow a true idea.
