You all remember it... Where you were... Who you heard
if from... When you heard it... What happend... And
everyone was asking why? and how? This was the day
terrorists attacked our country. I was walking from
my 2nd period class, iss, to my 3rd period class which
was chorus. People were laughing about it. A friend
of mine came up to me and told me that a teacher came
into his class crying saying turn on the news turn on
the news, then he walked away hurrying to his class
continueing his laughter. Another one of my friends
came up to me scared asking me what she should do?? i
didn't have any idea what was goin on. My ISS class
hadn't heard nething about it. I walked into the
chorus room and everyone was silent. I looked up at
the tvs on the ceiling and my mouth dropped. I saw
two burning buildings and i turned to the class seeing
everyone shocked. I was so confused what buildings
were burning? what happend?? My friend told me
everything that happend. That two planes had crashed
into two of the trade centers towers. Then a picture
of the pentagon came up on the screen.. why was taht
building burning too? the whole class was shocked to
find out taht our pentagon building had been attacked
too. Everyone was quiet and some people were crying
w/ fear. I called my best friend over so i could hold
her hand.. i was scared but she wasnt. I turned to
the person sitting next to me and she was crying. I
walked her to the door and she went to the bathroom.
As more people started to realize what was happening
they started worrying about their family. there were
about 5 people including a teacher who always seemd so
strong and supportive who were now worrying about
where their father, mother, brother, sister, aunt,
uncle, or cousin was. It's hard to look at a male
teacher, who is a football coach, and always so firm,
so close to crying. He had made various calls still
not knowing where his father was. A class full of
girls that are always talking was now quiet and asking
alot of questions quietly to their neighbors, barely
even listening to the responses. I was mostly scared
and confused. What was goin on to our strong country.
After class i called my mom for some support and told
her we were all staying in school. She told me she
loved me and i went on to class. We watched the news
all day and during passing periods i tried to say i
love you to all of my friends. When i finally found
my boyfriend i gaved him the biggest hug. Everyone
was overwhelmed by this tragedy even if none of their
family members were involved but we will always
remember where we were.. who told us... and how we
felt..
