The Unexpected

This is a story about a man called Jim.
In unenlightened times he would have been called dim.
He did surprising things on a whim,
While his mum looked on, with prayer and hymn.
All in all, his prospects remained grim,
But one day he came home.
"Hello mum, I've married Tim".
