More To It Than Rhyme

Common mis-perception strikes to the fore
Of many a poetry perveyor as they seek satisfaction,
As assumption made manifests that a poem needs;
Assymilated allitertion allied with personifaction.
Perhaps with much "needed" rhyme?;
So that is runs as needled in time,
Allitertion from line end to line end-
Oh how I pine!
Let it not be mine that they think is good
Without want of being rude,
Firvilous rhyme as they chime on, with the ultimate crime
Loving all that runs so nice, seemingly not
Aware of other forms of poetry sound;
The lack of need for such trivial touch.
If one such should choose not to touch.
