D........MEETING THE WOLF

Rosanna was standing next to the Teleportal. she had worked out that
it only opperated when she wore the green stone. She remembered that
Turak had used it.
getting into the it she rode fast to get to Turak.

It was dark when she arrived.
Crowds were gathered inside the dome, there was a sick sweet smelling
aroma in the air.
More Upus, more Upus, the crowds were chanting in a state of
frenzy.
As she made her way to the middle she noticed that there was a shirne
in the centre with a beautiful young girl chained to it.
She was struggling to get free. A couple of trogs walked to her and one
held her down while the other forced her to drink the liquid.
She was obviously drugged with Upus, after they had finished she was
left again, but stood with her eyes closed.
Suddenly there was a blood thristy growl and the crowd feel
silent.
Rosanna turned to see a beast walking toward the girl, it seemed to be
very much like the face of a wolf.
The girl opened her eyes and started to laugh in a drugged way.
Growling he avanced.
"Oh my God",Rosanna cried"it means to kill her".
She jumped up and tried to get near, maybe she could stop this. The
crowds were thick and it was impossible to get up to the shrine where
the sacrifice was about to take place.
Rosanna watched helplessly as the wolf like beast tore into the throat
of the poor girl.
Rosanna was revolted at the sight of it, she turned and ran from the
arena.
She began to vomit, tears where running down her cheeks. She felt pain
inside as she relived the horror of what she had just seen.

After a while she stopped vomitting and feeling sleepy with the heat
of two suns beating down on her, she lay down and went to sleep.
She was rudely awakend some time later when somebody kicked her foot
hard.
She sat up and opened her eyes. "Oh God, "she cried. It was too late
she was roughly pulled to her feet by two trogs from zoltan.

The Arena was darkend as Rosanna was thrust into the the ring,she felt
very light headed with the Soma that they had forced her to drink. She
had beed giving a ray bath and treated with fine oils and scents. And
they had dressed her so beautifully. The sacrifice to the beast was
alwats treated like royalty.
She was taken to the alter and force to li9e on it. They force some
more soma down her throat and she mfelt as if she was floating up, out
for her body.
As she looked down at herself she noticed that the green stone was
glowing a strange green glow. If only l could reach it she thought, and
pull it out t would help me. Suddenly she was back in her body again.
She slowly lifted her hand and pulled out the the stone.
As she held it in her hand she felt a strong jolt of power and at the
same time she felt the presence of Turak.
They had tied her to the alter now, the green stone was glow even more
now and she felt her body ingulft by its force. Her mind had cleared
now and she began trying to get free of her bonds. Something made her
strong and she suddenly just snapped the bonds.
There was a sudden loud growl and the wolf man sprang towards her,
snarling as it came.
The power of the stone seemed to take over and she leapt at the
creature, knocking it down and leaping over it. She took the stone in
her hand and took hold of the beast with the other.
The crowds in the arena were screaming.
The beast was wrathing on the floor.
In came half a dozen trogs and charged at rosanna.She stepped back and
fell into a hole where the floor had opened.
She screamed as she fell down into the darkness.

She must of knocked herself out when she reached the bottom of the
pit.
She open her eyes to find herself laying on a ledge of furs. She felt
very warm and comfortable. There was candles around that lit up the
way. Goodness was she in a cave, sitting up she looked around to find
that she was in the cave of her childhood , the one she had been inas a
child with Turak.

She heard approaching footsteps, my Goodness was this Turak
coming...............
