he sits with that cocky
smile on his face knowing
that all the girls want him but
he doesn’t know what they want
from him but all I want from him
is to be loved like I’m meant to be
I’m meant to feel special when I lie
in your arms but
all I feel is suspicion that there will
be someone else tomorrow I know that
this is the way it’s meant

want or need me I just want to

to impress his friends if only
