Questions of the Heart

I feel you breath softly upon my skin,
As we lie here close¦is this where love begins?
Your body's warmth next to me so near.
Do we feel the same things do our hearts speak clear?

In this moment shared ' right here, right now '
We chance upon the hope of finding love somehow.
And, if by chance, or some luck or fate
We find true love ' will we hesitate?

For we know of love's pain, so many memories past.
Is that what we hope to feel strong enough to last?
Do we fall in love, or simply stay friends?
Do we dare to know how all this will end?

Will our hearts dance together to love's everlasting tune?
As I lie here in your arms underneath the crescent moon?
Now, here in my heart, I dearly hope and pray
That in your, heart you've found a love to stay.
