Pain

You put your arm around me,
I look into your eyes,
I see the pain you feel,
And I feel it too.

I tell you I don't want you to leave,
I try to make you promise,
You won't do anything stupid,
But you say you can't.

Your feelings are so deeply hidden,
But I see right through the act,
Your happiness will never stop me,
