Faerie Ring
If I were a faerie with a magic wand,
Oh! What fun there'd be!
Off I'd fly
'Twixt ground and sky,
'Tween stars and galaxies.
To flit I would
Thru' verdant wood,
'Neath green and leafy tree.
To sit within
A faerie ring
Would be so heavenly.
To meet you there
I'll say a prayer
And wave my magic wand.
Sweet wine we'll sip
In fellowship,
This day and thence beyond.
By sandy seas
And summer breeze,
By azure, shell-lined shore.
'Neath Sun's red ray,
Oh, perfect day!
So bonnie and so braw!
Whence stars appear
Night's dark veneer,
When Nephthys drops Her veil.
Our hearts we'll tune
To light of Moon,
Charmed rapture shall prevail.
Until that time of calm sublime,
We'll bid our fond farewell,
Till breath does bloom
From wooded womb,
And Fey does cast Her spell.
