Paul lay awake at night, scared of those little things called
bedbugs and Gouhlies. He always believed in them, ignnoring his parents
when they told him they didn't exist. Did they know how wrong they
were? Or were they trying to cover something up? Paul was anxious to
know. He had seen little critters undermeath his bed, and had woken
many times with small spotty bites all over the side where he
sleeps.
His ignorant parents told him to 'grow up' but he ignored them, just
like they ignnored the fact that monsters are real. Thats why, one
night, there was a powercut. Paul woke up and tiptoed carefully to his
parents room. The only sound was the pitter patter of, what sounded
like, the rain and the creaking of the floorboards.
Paul reached towards the doornob with his sweating palms. The Pitter
Patter seemed to be louder neer the door. Suddenly Paul felt a liquid
around his feet. what was it? Maybe the rain had flooded in through an
open window. The door was opened and paul peeped around the door only
to feel a massive splash of liquid into his face... Blood.
Paul screamed and turned on the light. He then saw the one thing that
made him grow up to be the twisted, beserk murderer that he grew up to
be.
