Newton
Flames burning the night sky,
she screams, horror streaking through her brain.
I stand and gaze at the flaming house,
grinning.
I awake, raggedly gasping for breath,
cold sweat coating my body,
fear of my wrathful God
filling me.
It's her fault, she left me.
She left me.
Force of nature, gravity
force of humanity, loyalty.
My fear burns me, but
I still see Mother smoldering in my dreams,
and can't stop my grin.
