might cloud the issue.
The thin man isn't Nick, who is in fact
a Greek ex- gumshoe, whilst the damn
dog is a schnauzer.

And it doesn't stop there.

Marlowe meets two sisters, one destined
for the loony bin and nobody important
takes the big sleep.
And hell if there ain't two sisters in
Chinatown too - and a dad who ain't
Will Rogers either.

And should it stop at all?

There are only seven stories
even with dolls, b-girls, sisters
and cool private eyes.

And there's something else.

The Great Gabbo begat Magic, Hopkins' loon
as mad as Stroheim's, whilst Mamma Mia's
really Mrs Campbell.
Altair-IV is also home to Prospero and
his daughter is almost Miranda-ised
in the musical.

And one last thing to know...

There's nothing new out of a pen, not
even this poor effort at a poem
is original.
